Man in Love Lyrics

by Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton Man in Love Lyrics

Eric's "Money and Cigarettes" album which
was released in 1983. This song has three
guitars playing - two doing the blues riff
patterns and one playing the licks and fills.
The chords and blues riff are tabbed here,
but I haven't tabbed any of the licks.
Here are the different blues riffs in the song
(play them during the appropriate chords):
"E" Riff "A" Riff "B" Riff
* At each of the spots with an "A*" both guitars play
two quick A-chord stabs.
Intro: play "E" Riff alone 4x, then 2nd guitar
joins in with chords.
Verse 1:
You're always in my hair, you keep me feeling fine
I celebrate each time I realize you're really mine
Chorus:
Cause I'm a man in love
Yes I'm a man in love
I tell it everywhere I go
I want the whole world to know
That I'm a man in love
Verse 2:
I used to be so sad, like a dog without a bone
And then you showed me something, baby I had never known
Chorus:
Oh I'm a man in love
I'm a man in love
I tell it everywhere I go
I want the whole world to know
That I'm a man in love
(solo - use same chords as verse & chorus)
Verse 3:
Well I love to see you walk up and down the street
You look so pretty baby, from your head down to your feet
Chorus:
I'm a man in love
Yes I'm a man in love
I tell it everywhere I go
I want the whole world to know
That I'm a man in love
Verse 4:
Well the minutes seem like hours, and the hours seem like days
And the days they seem like years every time you go away
Chorus:
I'm a man in love
Yes I'm a man in love
I tell it everywhere I go
I want the whole world to know
That I'm a man in love
Yes I'm a man in love....
(repeat and fade)
