CHORDS: You can play with drop D or regular sounds good either way...Neil plays Droped however :)
INTRO:
My My, hey hey
Rock and roll is here to stay
It\'s better to burn out
Than to fade away
My My, hey hey
It\'s out of the blue and into the black
They give you this but you pay for that
And once you\'re gone you can never come back
When you\'re out of the blue
And into the black
harmonica solo 1:
Am7 G Fmaj7/A ****see note on bottom if you cant get the strums right.
The king is gone but he\'s not forgotten
This is the story of a Johnny Rotten
It\'s better to burn out than it is to rust
The king is gone but he\'s not forgotten
Hey Hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There\'s more to the picture
Than meets the eye
Hey Hey, my my
harmonica solo 2:
slide into B7 (B5 B6 B7)-B6 D6 B6 B5 B6 D6 B5 (B5 B6
B7)-B6 D6 D6 B6 B5 B5 slide into B7 B6 D6 B6 B5 D5
Am7 G Fmaj7/A ---do this progression twice then
C Em Am F **on bottom how many strums
then fade out with this:
Hey Hey, my my
**notes on harmonica solo**
For every chord EXCEPT Famj7/A and F strum roughly four times which is once per beat. When you see Fmaj7/A or F act as if it is really written twice. Meaning you strum the F\'s twice as much as the other chords. If you still dont get it email me at briant_203@hotmail.com and ill be happy to help.
Harp solo key:
B= blow
D= Draw
-= slide into or out of note
numbers in () such as (B5 B6 B7)= their chords meaning blow all at the same time.
Well thats it have fun wit it.
