فأرسل أهل الوادي رسالة إلى أعلى التل

يطلبون الكنز المدفون، أطنان الذهب التي سيقتلون من أجلها
Came an answer from the kingdom: ?With our brothers we will share
وجاء الجواب من المملكة: "مع إخوتنا سنتقاسم".
All the secrets of our mountain, all the riches buried there.?
كل أسرار جبلنا كل الثروات المدفونة هناك.؟
Verse III
الآية الثالثة
Now the valley cried with anger, mount your horses, draw your sword!
الآن صرخ الوادي بغضب، اركب خيولك، استل سيفك!
And they killed the mountain people, sure they'd won their just reward
وقتلوا أهل الجبل، مؤكدين أنهم قد نالوا جزاءهم العادل
Now they stood beside the treasure on the mountain dark and red
الآن وقفوا بجانب الكنز على الجبل الداكن والأحمر
Turned the stone and looked beneath it -
قلبت الحجر ونظرت تحته -
"Peace on Earth" was all it said.
"السلام على الأرض" كان كل ما قيل.
