Jefferson Airplane Good Shepherd Lyrics

Subject: Re: Good Shepherd (Traditional) by Jefferson Airplane
o The following should help you get started. It's what I transcribed
from the record a while back; no guarantees of accuracy, etc. In
particular, I think the signature acoustic guitar riff (marked
"intro" below, but really runs through the whole song) is played by
two guitars, one or both of them in an open tuning. I think the
notes I have are right, but the voicings aren't.
o Also, I didn't tab the electric guitar lead part. It's fairly easy
to figure out and play.
intro:
E E D Asus2 -or- D Asus2
^-melody in bass ^-melody on "B" string

pre-chorus:

chorus:
One for Paul, one for Silas,
One for to- day my heart with joy.
Can't you hear my lambs a- callin'
Oh, good shepherd, feed my sheep.
bridge:
3x F#
