Painter Song Lyrics
by Norah Jones
This is Norah Jones' "Painter Song" and I think the "Advanced" difficulty level is
probably worth it here.
If only I could get that nice accordion bit in the middle to sound right!
I couldn't get ultimate guitar to recognise the G7#5,
so I've had to write it as G7(#5) so that it'll transpose properly, but you get the idea.
Ari
TUNE DOWN 3 HALF STEPS
(#5)
If I were a painter
I would paint my reverie
If that's the only way for you to be with me
(#5)
We'd be there together
Just like we used to be
Underneath the swirling skies for all to see
ch /ch
G7(#5) D7 F#dim/E
And I'm dreaming of a place
Where I could see your face
And - I - think - my - brush - would - take - me - there
But only...
(#5)
If I were a painter
And could paint a memory
ch /ch
I'd climb inside the swirling skies to be with you
ch /ch
I'd climb inside the skies to be with you
ch /ch
G7(#5) D7 F#dim/E
And I'm dreaming of a place
Where I could see your face
And - I - think - my - brush - would - take - me - there
But only...
(#5)
If I were a painter
And could paint a memory
ch /ch
I'd climb inside the swirling skies to be with you
I'd climb inside the skies to be with you
