Note, of course, that this is appoximate and must be made better by he/she
who is holding the guitar--listen to the record and you'll get the idea.
Notice also that this is Starflyer, and thus all strings are tuned down half
a step, which is important if playing with the record.
Intro (play this a couple times, loosely)
Intro chords can be played on an acoustic as such:
(best guess at indecipherable lyrics follow)
Is there time?
Feeling the lights.
Putting a song to life,
feeling the old time.
And these friends and mine,
who wrote the prize?
And we write the songs you like
in half the time.
Something's wrong, it fixed the old mess.
Just play the C Chord like it's something.
Something's wrong, it fixed the old mess.
Just play the C Chord like it's something,
like it's something.
And happily, it's all repeated from there. The second verse is really just
the second half of the first verse, and once again the electric hitting root
of the chord, open b string, root of the chord, open b string jumps in half
way through. Chorus is the same. Same chord progression throughout the
"Like it's something you can see" bit, go wild. Cheers! Anyone with more
Starflyer stuff, especially off Everybody Makes Mistakes or Fashion Focus
feel free to feed me. Or Denison Marrs. Or Pedro the Lion.
Chords: (EADGBE)
