CRICKETS THROW THEIR VOICE - Basement
Email: Gotchristo@comcast.net
Great band, figured I'd try to work out a song. I'm not sure what tuning they play
in, but I tabbed it out in half-step down for easier chords. Keep in mind that
this is more of a loose interpretation of the song, sounds fine by itself, but Im
not sure if its 100% accurate.
INTRO:
VERSE:
If it all worked out we would live in a different house.
We would live in a different town.
This is a brand new start; clear body, broken heart.
I'll come visit you when I get the chance.
PRE-CHORUS:
Breathing's not easy when you're underwater.
I am drowning and you're keeping me under.
CHORUS:
Close your eyes, sleep outside.
it's warmer than in here.
I'll be fine, I'll run and hide.
I wish I could stay here.
VERSE:
You're still in my head. my mind's convinced that you never left.
I'm counting down till I see you next.
I still compare everything to your silhouette.
How can I forget what is perfect?
PRE-CHORUS:
Breathing's not easy when you're underwater.
I am drowning and you're keeping me under.
CHORUS:
Close your eyes, sleep outside.
it's warmer than in here.
I'll be fine, I'll run and hide.
I wish I could stay here.
F#m G x4 (see tab below)
CHORUS:
Close your eyes, sleep outside.
it's warmer than in here.
I'll be fine, I'll run and hide.
I wish I could stay here.
