لقد أتى الربيع، واليمام يغرد من فوق برج الكنيسة،
bees are in the flowers growing in the graveyard,
النحل في الزهور التي تنمو في المقبرة،
and over the hill, where the river meets the mill,
وفوق التل، حيث يلتقي النهر بالطاحونة،
a lovely girl is coming down to give her hand up on her wedding day.
فتاة جميلة تنزل لترفع يدها في يوم زفافها.
Dressed in simple white and wearing flowers in her hair,
