1st verse:
الآية الأولى:
Somewhere on the prairie a yellow stud runs free,
في مكان ما على المرج، يركض مسمار أصفر حرًا،
runnin through the sagebrush down through the coolies.
ركض من خلال فرشاة الميرمية إلى أسفل من خلال الحمّال.
and there not far behind him, a cowboy rides along.
وهناك على مسافة ليست بعيدة خلفه، يركب راعي بقر.
He's gonna try to catch him and break him for his own.
سيحاول الإمساك به وكسره بنفسه.
2nd verse:
الآية الثانية :
The chase goes on all mornin and late into th day
تستمر المطاردة طوال الصباح وحتى وقت متأخر من اليوم
the cowboy changes horses he staked along the way
يقوم راعي البقر بتغيير الخيول التي راهن بها على طول الطريق
the stud is growin weaker now and gettin short of wind
أصبح المربط أضعف الآن ويفتقر إلى الريح
he runs into a trap corral the cowboy shuts him in
يصطدم بالفخ الذي يغلقه رعاة البقر
3rd verse:
الآية الثالثة:
The yellow stud with wild eyes, the feared, hated man
الفحل الأصفر ذو العيون الجامحة، الرجل المخيف والمكروه
finally standin face to face in the hot, dusty sand
وأخيراً وقف وجهاً لوجه في الرمال الساخنة المغبرة
the battle starts and rages on beneath the burnin sun
تبدأ المعركة وتحتدم تحت الشمس الحارقة
the cowoboy tried but couldn't ride this yellow outlaw stud.
حاول راعي البقر ركوب هذا الفحل الأصفر الخارج عن القانون لكنه لم يستطع.
4th verse:

(recitation) He sold him to a rodeo, and it spread thoughout the land

the stud kept gettin stronger and thrashin up the earth
ظل المربط يزداد قوة ويضرب الأرض
the cowboy blew a stirrup and crashed into the dirt.
فجر راعي البقر الرِّكاب واصطدم بالتراب.
6th verse:
الآية السادسة:
so violently the stud had bucked that he slipped and fell.
لقد انحرف المربط بعنف لدرجة أنه انزلق وسقط.
as he went down his backbone snapped
عندما نزل انكسر عموده الفقري
the yellow stud lay still
كان المسمار الأصفر ساكنًا
7th verse:
الآية السابعة :
(recitation)As the cowboys gathered round him, i heard one of em say
(تلاوة) وبينما كان رعاة البقر مجتمعين حوله، سمعت أحدهم يقول
There'll never be another bronc like the one that died today
لن يكون هناك برونزي آخر مثل الذي مات اليوم
But out there on the prairie there's a mare with mustang blood
لكن هناك في البراري هناك فرس بدماء موستانج
and a colt runs close beside her, a yellow outlaw stud.
ويجري بجانبها جحش، وهو فحل أصفر خارج عن القانون.
