Witchcraft Lyrics

Matt Costa Witchcraft Lyrics

Great song by Matt Costa, he managed to capture to some extent a 60's feeling without
losing the classic Matt Costa sound.
In the acoustic version he uses a capo on the 2nd fret, but i think he has his guitar
tuned one step down, so its okay to play it in Standard Tuning.
If i get any request to tab the intro part, or the little rundown he does i'll do it,
it's pretty easy if you are accustomed to tuplets.
The part that says "i cannot explain" and "i'd be saying again", the A B A chords arent
actually chords, they are bass notes, just play the root bass notes of the chords and
then land in the F# chord.
You put a spell on me
Cursed me, got a sudden beam
And I know what it means
I'm not a sinister she smiled
Just caught a little off guard by being with you
You got me feelin' strange
Pins and pains that I cannot explain
I can't explaieieeein
You must be using witchcraft
We met on Monday morning
By Monday evening, I had found
She had a reputation
Miss Firey Hair is gonna push you down
She's got me sayin' something
I never thought that I'd be saying again
I can't explaiaiaaann
I saw the dark black cat that crosses my path
Got the mystic train that rolls up the track
It must be witchcraft for you to do someone like that
It must be witchcraft for you to do someone like that
little rundown i think he improvises, then lands on
F#-B-F#-E (x4)
You got me feelin' strange
Pins and pains that I cannot explain
You got me sayin' something
I never thought that I'd be saying again
I can't explaieieeein
You must be using witchcraft
