Author of The Play Lyrics
by Mintzkov
Don't break of dawn a weight
Fortune coexists deep day
I'll take what I can find
A fabric for a vivid smile
you say: take a bow
You say: curtains down
Although I'm sure it's makebelief, I trust myself it's but a dream (2x)
Smoke-filled rooms you can't get out
Trying to recall what you where about to say
Clear blue skies turn red
You're author of the play
Although I'm sure it's makebelief, I trust myself it's but a dream
Although I'm sure it's makebelief, I trust myself it's but a dreaaaaaaaaam
I have
A dreaaaam I have
Cm Ab Bb (4x, triple strums each chord)
Although I'm sure it's makebelief, I trust myself it's but a dream (2x)
When played on keys, one may actually note that the Cm's during the verses
are played alternating with the Ab chord continuously. For clarity the Ab
strums in the verses where omitted, but you can of experiment to find some
way to play the song true to its character, although full chord strum seem
out of the question.
Lyrics, especially the first two lines are a bit iffy.
