The Horrors - Sea Within A Sea
This is the tab I made to the new single Sea Within A Sea by The Horrors
from their new upcoming cd ?Primary Colours?. I did the best I could, I
figured it out all by myself, so if you have corrections/improvements that
could be made, just tell me?
Bass (use reverb)
Guitar (tremolo effect + lots of reverb + slight OD)
0.15 ? 1.06
Faris starts to sing
1.06 ? 1.58
Every 4th time you play the above riff, use a slide (or any other round
metal/glass object ie. tremolo bar, battery,?)
Riff
1.58 ? 2.13
After the riff, slide down again with whatever round metal object you've got
2.14 ? 2.53
Guitar 1 (tremolo + reverb+?)
Guitar 2 (clean with reverb)
Guitar 3
As usual, every 4th time guitar 1 plays, or if guitar 2 has played the
whole thing (so every 4 measures) slides down
Play this 3 times
2.53 ? 3.23
Guitar 2 continues to play here (very hard to hear), while Josh plays stuff
that's impossible to tab, I guess he hits notes behind his bridge (Jaguar?)
and other random stuff, with an enormous amount of reverb and some OD and
also delay

Synth comes in
your dist, use a tremolo pedal, slapback delay (very short time, and little
repeats) and reverb
3.40 ? 4.26

Then changes to something along these lines
4.26 ? 7.59 (end)
Synth
Repeat the entire outro part until the end of the song, the last minute or
so (listen to it), it changes to just the chords, then you just strum the
chords as you were playing them, but turn off tremolo and delay. So just
slight dist with reverb?
