Last Cigarette (Boo Hewerdine)
This is on Boo Hewerdine's third album, Baptist Hospital. Written by Boo
Hewerdine, Gary Clarke and Neill MacColl. It's played in A (capo at 2nd fret).
All the below is written as though played in G (at the nut), so add 2 to all
the tab sections if you're using a capo.
:
The moon in the morning is watching the rain turn to snow
and outside my window, sometimes the rain falls harder
than you'll ev - er know
sometimes the things that you love in the night
the morning will choose to forget

Struming: The Intro & the first line of the verse's bassline is G B D B, so
hold the shape of the G chord throughout, but accentuate the 6th 5th 4th 5th
strings. The rest of the verse follows a similar strumming pattern, except you
don't vary the bass note.
Here's the instrumental bits written out in A (i.e. this is what you play if
you're using a capo at the 2nd fret)
