Hi all!
Here's the complete tab to Satch's "Cryin'".
I've been working on this for a real long time now, and I think I've
nailed most of it. There's lots of ghost notes and other subtleties
and I cant hope to tab them all out anyway, but i've done what I could.
I've tried to give some rough sense of the timing but you still need to
listen to the song to get it down.
Send all comments, criticisms, flames, fan mail (;P) to mercuria@usa.net
Cheers!

PLAYING NOTES/ SUGGESTIONS:
This one's really emotional. So make sure you really work those bends
to get the feeling.
Embellish the bends using your own pre-bends, vibrato and harmonics.
One good idea is the delayed vibrato - hold a sustained note for a
while and then vibrate gently - used pretty often.
In addition you can add pinch harmonics or feedback on top of notes
that are sustained for a long time.
You can also fool around with the timing - sustain some notes a bit
longer than neccessary and play the next part a bit faster - this can
give it a cooler vibe. Just remember to stay on beat!
I've included the fills and add-ons he plays when some parts are
repeated. Feel free to leave some out and add others of your own.
You can give the song a touch of your own character by replacing the
faster pentatonic bits with your own licks.
A good idea for improvisation would be to play out the last 16 bars using
your own stuff. It's a E5|Em/D|Esus4/C|E7sus4/B| progression that you can
repeat many times as you want. Great place to apply all those blues licks
that drove your neighbours crazy!
