Science Lyrics
by Lukas Rossi
This is another beautiful song from Lukas, and I figured I'd give it a try since
nobody else had put it on here. I'm not necessarily sure of
the names of some of the Cm variations, so if anyone could help with that, I'd
appreciate it. The chords are right though, I picked them all
up watching Lukas play during one of his Sunday Night Stu appearances.
Chords
Cm - Cm*(slide to 5th fret on e string half way through) - F#m - G#m
Falling star, come quickly
Is this a dream? Is this a dream?
Tell me
Stay where you are, I'll come to you
As proud as you are, the getaway car
Is near
(He plays the Cm the whole time, hammering on/off the A string)
You treat me like an addict, well I'm burying the dead
You live a certain science, but your science is fucking dead
I go down, I'll love you forever
But that's just not enough
Without you, it'd be so ugly
E B5 Cm (let ring)
Life has just begun
I am up against the world
I guess God has a sense of humor
In the night I'm not real
Through the darkness I feel
If you're there, do you care?
It's your science I believe
- this one leads right into the chorus
You treat me like an addict, but the addict's in your head
I'll love you forever
But that's just not enough
Without you, I'd be so ugly
E B5 Cm (let ring)
Life has just begun
Does a shadow have a name?
Does it feel the same?
I guess God has a sense of humor
Ohhhhh, ohhhhh
I guess God has a sick sense of humor
-strum Cm down once, then slowly up, and that's it!
Again, if anyone can help me with the couple chord names, that'd be great.
Anything else, let me know, thanks. Yeeeaaaiiiaaah!
