Sang Real Lyrics

Sang Real - Dredg
Sang Real by Dredg tabbed for a single guitar (acoustic or whatever you like)
try to let the notes ring where possible
That was the slide-guitar part tabbed for guitar with added bass notes (to play
it alone).
In the song the guitar is acutally playing something like this:
VERSE (Piano Part)
This part has when played live a lot of variations
so i added some optional notes in brackets with
a *-sign and an explanation to the right.
Hope it doesn't get too confusing this way.
Play with triplet feeling (listen to the song to get it right)
with them. It's your choice.
The chords are
I'll just give an suggestion on how to play these chords. If you don't like
it then play them the way you prefer.
In the recording the guitar isn't actually playing any chords, thats all the
piano (guitar is doing the part tabbed below). I found a live acoustic verison
(http://www.youtube.com/watch'v=HmuytGMlItc) where guitar is doing the chords,
but he has tuned his guitar two steps down there, so he can play almost all
of them as open chords. (and i don't like twisting my pins all the time ;)
Rhythmically i just wrote down the accents. You'll get the rest of the rhythm
in your own.
*I added the notes in brackets optionaly if you like more bass in the chords.
Just leave out the the notes on the D string if you choose to add the bass.
But beware, the bass note here is not the keynote of the chord, so it could
sound awkward if you're playing together with an bassist for example.
Here are in addition the view notes the lead guitar is playing during the refrain:
Play with Delay
POST-REFRAIN
again let the notes ring
The second Refrain is pretty much the same as the first one, it's just a view
chords longer
Here's the lead-guitar part for Refrain 2
Play with Delay
BREAK
*If these 4 measures are two high for your guitar, or you don't feel
comfortable playing them, then i suggest you to either repeat the
first 4 measures of the break, or to play this variation instead
(made that one on my own and it fits in quite well i think)
Almost the same es Refrain 2, except for the pickup into the ending
in the last measure (F) of the Refrain and a view variations in
the lead guitar part.
And here the lead-guitar part for Refrain 3:
Play with Delay
ENDING
let notes ring
