If you use the dropped tuning the G chord is played like this:
This is really a Gsus (that's the way Jess plays it).
Personally I prefer to use normal tuning and play a regular G.
It's easier and I think it sounds better.
The downside is you can't use the open bass strings for bass.
This does give it a certain "full" sound especially in the break part.
If you use normal tuning play the bass accordingly and mute the low E in the
break part. This tab assumes you're using the drop tuning.
