Relator Lyrics
by Pete Yorn
Sorry for this mostly redundant repost of a tab I just put up, but I am a
bit of a perfectionist. The only differences here are the timing of the "B"s
in the verse. My original placement of those "B"s at the beginning of each
vocal line is a small, but very confusing problem if you're trying to play
and read along with the lyrics. They now line up with the correct
corresponding word. Hope this helps.
CHORDS:
VERSE:
When I met you,
I didn't know what to do.
I was tired, I was hungry, I'd fight.
Now you're away,
You write home everyday
and I see you on the TV at night.
BRIDGE:
You don't think that life's for us to talk about.
You can leave whenever you want out... whoa
CHORUS:
You don't relate to me... no girl,
you don't respe-ect me... no girl... no giiiirrrrl
VERSE:
When I met you,
I didn't know what to do,
but I noticed that I didn't really feel.
Now you're away,
you write home everyday.
I don't beg, I don't borrow, I steal.
BRIDGE:
You don't think that life's for us to talk about.
You can leave whenever you want out, you want out.
CHORUS:
Well, you don't relate to me, no girl.
You don't respe-ect me, no girl.
And you don't relate to me, no girl.
(You can leave when ever you want out)
And you don't respe-ect me, no girl.
Well you don't relate to me, no girl.
(You can leave when ever you want out)
And you don't respe-ect me, no girl, no giiiirrrrl. Yeah.
(Guitar OUTRO is just the B to Esus2 (x3) ending on a final B strum)
