Knives Out Lyrics
by Radiohead
RADIOHEAD- Knives Out (un-released)
transcription by Joey Gallagher (joeygallagher@hotmail.com)
What you have in this song is 3 guitars. Thom doing the acoustic rythm.
Jonny doing all the sharp sounding riffs. And Colin adding some bass lines
(I haven't bothered to include that) The songs pretty straight forward and
incorporates alot of Paranoid Android chords.
The chorus of the song can be kind of hard to distinguish because of Colin's
bass lines, which can kind of mislead you because he's darting around what
the others are playing.
Chords Used
Ab- (4x654x) or can also try Ab9- (4x554x) I think Thom switches back and
forth between these two quickly in some parts of the song.
F#- (2x02xx)

Verse1
I want you to know

he's not coming back
he's bloated and frozen still there's

(For those who want to play the Thom Yorke acoustic guitar part!)
First the chords:
H
I want you to know
He's not coming back
He's bloated and frozen
Still there's no point in letting it go to waste
So knives out
Cook him up
Don't look down
Shove it in your mouth
If you'd been a dog
They would have drowned you at birth
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Squash his head
Put him in the pot
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Don't look down
Shove it in your mouth
CLIMB
I want you to know
He's not coming back
Look into my eyes
It's the only way you'll know I'm telling the truth
So knives out
Catch the mouse
Squash his head
Put him in the pot
The song ends with chord #6. But everybody has to find out on his/her own how to play the strings like Thom does.
But these must be the chords for the acoustic guitar part.
