Okay, here's my second posting of a rather difficult Van Halen tune (the
Oké, hier is mijn tweede bericht van een nogal moeilijk Van Halen-deuntje (de
first being that "Poundcake" monster). The first thing you gotta do if you
eerst dat "Poundcake"-monster). Het eerste dat u moet doen als u
wanna sound like the record is tune down 1/2 step. The signature riff
wil klinken alsof de plaat een halve stap is afgesteld. De kenmerkende riff
(which is also the chorus part) is quite difficult to play. Try to find
(wat ook de refreinpartij is) is behoorlijk moeilijk om te spelen. Probeer te vinden
as many actual chord-shapes as possible; that way you won't have to make a
zoveel mogelijk feitelijke akkoordvormen; zo hoef je geen
million changes in hand position. There's some bits of lyric here and there
miljoen veranderingen in handpositie. Hier en daar zijn er stukjes tekst
to help you keep up...

A few notes on my tab: "p.m...." means palm-mute;
Een paar opmerkingen op mijn tabblad: "p.m..." betekent palm-mute;
"a.h...." means artificial harmonics
"a.h..." betekent kunstmatige harmonischen
"b" means bend
"b" betekent buigen
"b&r" means bend the notes up to pitch and
"b&r" betekent de noten naar toonhoogte en buigen
then release the bend to the original
